Core Capabilities
Engineered for Formulation Precision.
Precise Thermal Control
PID-controlled inlet and outlet temperature with ±1 °C stability. Ideal for heat-sensitive APIs, probiotics, and encapsulated ingredients requiring tight drying profiles.
Two-Fluid Nozzle Atomization
Standard two-fluid nozzle with adjustable atomization air pressure produces droplets from 10-200 μm. Optional rotary atomizer available for high-viscosity feeds.
GMP-Grade Material Contact
All product-contact surfaces in 316L stainless steel with mirror-polished finish (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm). Borosilicate glass drying chamber for full process visibility.
Scale-Up Ready Design
Process parameters directly transferable to pilot and production-scale units. Eliminates costly reformulation during scale-up. Data logging supports IQ/OQ/PQ validation.
High Collection Efficiency
High-efficiency cyclone separator achieves >95% powder collection rate. Optional secondary bag filter for ultra-fine particles below 5 μm.
Easy CIP / Rapid Changeover
Tool-free disassembly of all wetted parts in under 15 minutes. CIP nozzle port standard. Minimizes cross-contamination risk in multi-product environments.

Drying Process
How the LSD-Series Works.
Feed Preparation
Solution, suspension, or emulsion loaded into feed tank. Peristaltic pump controls flow rate.
Atomization
Two-fluid nozzle disperses feed into fine droplets using compressed air at controlled pressure.
Drying Chamber
Droplets contact hot air in borosilicate glass chamber. Moisture evaporates in milliseconds.
Cyclone Separation
Dry powder particles separated from exhaust air in high-efficiency cyclone collector (>95%).
Powder Collection
Final powder collected in detachable collection vessel. Optional bag filter for sub-5 μm fines.
Configuration Options
Tailored to Your Process Requirements.
Inert Gas Loop (N₂)
Closed-loop nitrogen atmosphere for oxygen-sensitive, flammable, or explosive feed materials. Includes solvent recovery condenser.
Rotary Atomizer Upgrade
High-speed rotary disc atomizer for high-viscosity or high-solid-content feeds. Produces uniform spherical particles.
ATEX Explosion-Proof
Full ATEX Zone 1/21 rated electrical components and earthing system for solvent-based or combustible powder processes.
Secondary Bag Filter
Captures ultra-fine particles below 5 μm from exhaust air. Increases total yield and meets environmental emission standards.
Touch-Screen PLC Control
7-inch HMI with recipe storage, real-time parameter trending, alarm logging, and 21 CFR Part 11 audit trail option.
CIP Spray Ball System
Integrated CIP nozzle and drain valve for automated cleaning-in-place. Supports multi-product GMP environments without disassembly.
